Ryder Cup 2012
While at Cantigny on September 26, 2012. I was waiting for Curt to join me for a quick cup of coffee. As Curt was pulling up, my phone rang. I answered the call. It was a gentleman named Robert Squier from the Reilly Foam Corporation in Naperville. Robert said that he had went to the U.S. Marine requirement center in Naperville to donate tickets to today's Ryder Cup event. Robert explained to me that the Marines refused the tickets and said to give them to Marty Walker! The Marines gave Robert my contact information and thats what led up to Robert calling me. I made arrangements to pick up the tickets and Curt and I spent the rest of the day at the event. When I went to pick up the tickets, the owners of Reilly Foam Corporation gave me 5 tickets for the day and thanked me for all that I do for promoting Americanism in Naperville. Needless to say I gave all the credit to the Exchange Club and all that they do for the City. Curt and I had a great day together and Lori joined us after she got off of her busy work day. I really had a wonderful day bonding with my awesome Son and his beautiful wife Lori.
